A scribbling woman with much to say

Currently I've two projects at the forefront. There are others fighting for their place but they must be patient.

The first is a short story I began quite some time ago and am determined to finish before 2018 sails past us.

With the working title A Shark's Tale, this short, almost cozy mystery has found me in contact with Neville, a kind man in South Africa willing to communicate with me about a subject I can't share with you without spoiling the tale.

But I can tell you this, there is research to be done regarding Florida's illegal animal trade before I get much further.

Secondly, I am almost finished with the research and writing of a new program with the working title True Tea Tales.  I know, it needs a catchier title.

Historically, the tea hour has seen new ideas and plans set into motion. Recent events find me determined to make a difference in the horror that is human trafficking. I believe Martin Luther King's words: The greatest tragedy is not the brutality of the evil people, but rather, the silence of the good people.

A plan is unfolding. Stay tuned.
